CR84FN53 & Virginia’s View

There’s a stack of freshly crafted cards sitting next to my computer. My Silhouette SD is working double-shifts because I won’t cut out all those darling vintage motifs by hand…

The first challenge for today is CR84FN53, requiring the color combo aqua, pink and neutrals. Perfect combo for the cute lilies of the valley heart which I placed on checkered cardstock above a line of cute washi tape (delicate light blue and pink design):

When I saw this inspirational photo at Lilipad, I instantly thought of “Klatsch”. The German word “Klatschmohn” means “Poppies”, but “Klatsch” is also the word for gossip. So this pun (“want some gossip?”) is a little lame, but I like how it turned out (the doily stamp is by bastisRIKE). The CPS-Card Sketch gave me a great structure for the card.

My last challenge was self-implied. I needed a hot pic for a dear friend’s birthday, and auntie Google gave me this pinup pirate.

Thanks for the great inspiration to all the challenge teams! It was fun playing along :D
